OKAY…I am not officially panicking about packing the rest of my stuff up. Oh goodness oh goodness…I am going to have to play major tetris with boxes in my car today…daddy is gonna be annoyed with me for sure! haha

There are just some times when I am over the way things are. I am tired of feeling like shit, then feeling great then being made to feel like an asshole all over again.
I think my anxiety is just taking over every bit of emotion I feel on a daily basis. That and annoyance because I am tired of putting up with crap from people just because I am too nice to show them that they actually pissed me...

PANAMA!
Sorry that I havent updated all week, I’ve been shifting through tired and sick phases during every day. Panama, however, was great!

Romping in the mud..and other things
Alright…I’m sorry I haven’t been blogging lately, its been a mixture of exhaustion and crappy internet that have made it so. haha But l have been doing well. Last week ended fairly uneventfully, we went to my director’s house on Friday night and sang karaoke and hung out and it was really nice:)

So I definitely watched the superbowl on Sunday, even though I am in Costa Rica. It made me feel so at home..I honestly could not have been happier seeing football on TV (not that i dont already enjoy it of course) I went to this bar called MasTequila with a bunch of other girls from my program. It was really nice to just do something together that was relaxed and fun. haha

So today I finally slept in! Woot Woot! haha it was the best thing ever. Sometimes you take sleep for granted..especially when you havent had a day to sleep in at all in over a month. Yolie and I literally ate breakfast at 11:30. It was grand.

So this week was a long and stressful one, but I made it through! I finally finished my one month intensive, four hours a day, spanish class! The longest Monday ever.
Today was such a long long day..not bad, just exhausting. I must say I am very happy that this is the last week of spanish because idk if I can handle much more of the 4 hour long class I have everyday..and the stuff we are working on is a bit complicated.

This weekend was amazing:) I started my weekend with a field trip in my spanish class to a factory where they make things out of wood, but they use various types of wood found in Costa Rica. I thought that the kind of stress and exhaustion that you get when you go to college would not exist when studying in a foreign country….or at least not this early. I am so tired that I look like I am sick, and it’s because my classes are so early and I am still adjusting to the flow of life here that I don’t get very much good sleep. I sleep, but I am always so afraid to be late...

Well I definitely heard those words quite a bit today! I am proud to say that I have taken a step in the direction of conquering my fear of open water today…I went white water rafting. I know…crazy. It was honestly the most fun thing I have done this entire trip so far. If every new experience is better than the first one (as seems to be the pattern thus far) then I cannot wait to see...
I didnt think it was possible
to see so many beautiful things in one day. I honestly thought that some stuff was simply kept for movies..and pictures that make you think” yeah right..how much photoshop did they use” but I found out that these magnificent places actually exist! Costa Rica is full of them haah. So last night I really didnt get any sleep because my Mama Tica was having a party and her and her friends...

After class I came home to get ready to go to this amusement park which was a fun thing to do:) It was fun to just get to walk around and be with other people in my program and ride some rides. starting your spanish class with singing popular Juanes songs is the way to prepare for a midterm exam. haha Today we sang a song called fotografia by Juanes and Nelly Furtado. It’s a very good song..just never thought I would sing it in class! haha I took my midterm for Spanish Basic 2 today and I think I did fairly well seeing as how it was half of the textbook’s worth of content!...
So so far my class schedule is just a tad killer. Every morning up at 7am (5am California time) and off to school by 745…as excited as I was to be learning Spanish and all I didn’t particularly want 4 hours every morning for a month. lol Oh well, putting the waking up early problems aside my classes are mostly all really great.
